EDID learning function
This extender can easily solve the real problem between non-standard HDMI interface or incompatible display, projector and TV. Easily compatible between HDMI and DVI display devices.
The operation method is as follows:
1/ Connect the HDMI extender to the power supply
2/ Connect the HDMI extender transmitter to the monitor HDMI input with an HDMI cable
3/ Ensure that the monitor is turned on and select the monitor input to the corresponding HDMI input.
4/ Learn the EDID step: first power on the transmitter, then connect the HDMI cable of the monitor to the HDMI port of the transmitter, and then press and hold the button of the transmitter for more than 3 seconds, the indicator light will flash quickly, and the indicator light such as releasing the button will stop flashing. Then the EDID learning is completed, restarting the transmitter EDID is the brand new EDID.
Steps to restore the default EDID: The transmitter is powered on first, and the HDMI or HDMI is not connected to the source. Press and hold the transmitter button for more than 3 seconds. The indicator light flashes slowly. Release the button and other indicators to stop flashing. The EDID is restored. I will read the EDID of 3DTV after power-on.
