Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst and Oscar Isaac star in this thriller adapted from Patricia Highsmith's novel by Hossein Amini, who makes his directorial debut. In 1962 wealthy married couple Chester and Colette MacFarland (Mortensen and Dunst) are in the Acropolis of Athens, Greece, when they meet shady tour guide Rydal (Isaac). Rydal is immediately taken with the beautiful Colette and doesn't hestitate when the couple invite him to dine with them. Later in the evening, however, he begins to realise that Chester is hiding a dark secret and soon finds himself embroiled in murder. Rydal helps the MacFarlands evade the authorities but his feelings for Colette cause tension between him and Chester, making the already precarious situation even more dangerous.
Sean Connery and Ian McShane stars in this classic British thriller. Set in Scandinavia, it interweaves two terrorist situations; the kidnapping of the British ambassador and the hijacking of a plane while still on the tarmac. Connery plays the smooth talking Colonel who is sent in to make sense of and solve both situations.

However, his project attracts the attention of his nemesis Tubal-cain (Ray Winstone) and his followers who threaten Noah's family and the ongoing construction of the vessel. The supporting cast includes Emma Watson, Douglas Booth, Nick Nolte and Frank Langella.
Wes Anderson directs this award-winning comedy set in 1920s Europe starring Ralph Fiennes as a hotel concierge who finds himself mixed up in the search for a valuable Renaissance painting. Gustave H. (Fiennes) is a leading concierge at the Grand Budapest Hotel. An eccentric figure known for his dalliances with older women, Gustave has a one night stand with Madame D. (Tilda Swinton) and finds himself bequeathed a valuable painting, 'Boy With Apple', when she passes away - much to the fury of her son Dmitri (Adrien Brody). With Dmitri intent on framing Gustave for his mother's murder, the concierge and his lobby boy Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori) hatch a plan to hide the painting and evade the authorities. Will they succeed? The ensemble cast includes Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Tom Wilkinson and Owen Wilson. The film won four Academy Awards, the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical as well as BAFTAs for Best Original Music and Best Original Screenplay.
Scarlett Johansson stars in this sci-fi thriller adapted from Michel Faber's novel by director and co-writer Jonathan Glazer. Disguised as a human, extraterrestrial Laura (Johansson) comes from her home planet in search of earthly beings to send back to her employer. Arriving in Scotland she seeks out lonely hitchhikers to seduce, but can she keep her true identity hidden forever? The film also stars Paul Brannigan and Antonia Campbell-Hughes.
Allegorical drama from director Lindsay Anderson in which a group of non-conformist students lead a revolt against their oppressive masters at an English private school. Parallels are drawn in the film between the bullying, inflexible and snobbish approach of the schoolmasters to their pupils, led by the rebellious Mick Travis (Malcolm McDowell), and the dysfunction and injustice of the British class system at large. As Mick and his gang of cohorts indulge in acts of petty disobedience, such as heading into town to try and seduce a local waitress, the school's acts of retribution, led by Rowntree (Robert Swann), become increasingly cruel and malicious. Finally, the students are provoked into open rebellion, the bloody nature of which shocked a number of commentators at the time and led to claims that the film aimed to provoke a violent uprising in society as a whole.
Bitter-sweet comedy from director Bill Forsyth. Gregory (John Gordon Sinclair) is a gawky adolescent living in a small Scottish town. He is the star of the school football team until the arrival of the gorgeous Dorothy (Dee Hepburn), the only female player, who quickly replaces him. Brian Donlevy, Richard Davalos and Sid Haig star in this 1960s action drama about figure-eight track racing from writer/director Jack Hill. Following his arrest, drag racer Rick Bowman (Davalos) is bailed out of jail by promoter Grant Willard (Donlevy) who offers him a sponsorship in figure-eight racing. Bowman accepts and finds himself pitted against the deranged Hawk Sidney (Haig) on the track. Despite faring poorly in his first races, Bowman becomes determined to take over from Sidney's top spot no matter what it costs.
Abduction thriller starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano. Well-to-do family man Keller Dover (Jackman) is thrown into a world of paranoia and suspicion when his daughter and her friend go missing. With the only lead being a run-down RV which was parked outside the house, Detective Loki (Gyllenhaal) heads an investigation into the disappearance, tracks down the vehicle and arrests the driver (Dano), but a lack of evidence pointing to the man's guilt leads to him being released from custody. Feeling that justice will be a long time coming and that his daughter's life may be in danger, Keller takes matters into his own hands and begins a desperate search to find the two girls...
Wes Anderson's comic Indian road-movie, set on a train, follows three brothers on a road-to-nowhere as they try to bond with one another after the death of their father. Trying to rekindle their sibling affections, Francis (Owen Wilson), Peter (Adrien Brody), and Jack (Jason Schwartzman) Whitman travel across India to meet up with their mother (Anjelica Huston), who has forsaken western life to become a nun in the Himalayas. Along the way, the hapless brothers fall victim to a range of mishaps, involving, among other things, pepper spray and an unhealthy fondness for pharmaceuticals, as their well-intentioned trip spirals out of control.

Travelling though his body is hazardous, but far more dangerous is the suspicion that one of them is a traitor. They race against time to perform the surgery and escape from the body before they return to their full size. The film won Oscars for Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

Badly wounded and suffering from amnesia, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is pulled out of the Mediterranean by fishermen, and is able to recall neither who he is nor what happened to him. His only clue to his identity is the number of a Swiss bank account which has been etched into a device implanted in his body. Following the lead to Zurich, he discovers money, passports and a gun waiting for him, but also earns the attention of the security services and has to leave in a hurry. He then persuades a young woman named Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente) to drive him to Paris, where he hopes to find out his true identity and discover the reason why the CIA are taking such an interest in him. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' (2009), when unsavoury arms dealer Destro (Christopher Eccleston), who heads evil organisation Cobra, becomes too powerful, specialised military unit GI Joe (Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity) must try to dispense of him and his organisation using its latest high-tech weapons and gadgetry. The cast also includes Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, with Jonathan Pryce making an appearance as the US President. In 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' (2013), the G.I. Joe team must fight to wrestle back control of the world from the Commander (Faran Tahir) and Cobra spy Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), last seen disguised as the President of the United States. Outnumbered and outgunned, the Joes must execute a plan to expose the truth and stop Cobra from taking over the world before it is too late.

The film is set 15 years after the young Hansel and Gretel were abandoned by their parents in the forest and taken prisoner in a gingerbread house by a child-eating witch. The siblings managed to escape, and in the intervening years have taken advantage of their subsequent immunity to bad spells and curses to set themselves up as expert bounty hunters, becoming world-famous for their skill in tracking down and killing evil-doers around the globe. The film follows the brother and sister on their latest assignment - a campaign against evil sorceress Muriel (Famke Janssen) - which they begin to realise may be their golden opportunity for revenge of a more personal nature.

Oscars were won by Daniel Day-Lewis (playing the adult Brown) and Brenda Fricker (playing Brown's mother).
Adrien Brody and Lawrence Fishburne star in this sci-fi action sequel to the 1987 film 'Predator'. Produced by Robert Rodriguez, the film follows contract killer Royce (Brody) as he is abducted by alien creatures and released along with seven other professional killers onto a strange and hostile planet. Battling for survival, the group comes across Noland (Fishburne), an American commando who has managed to survive on the planet for several years by hiding out in a cave, and discover to their horror that they have been brought there as prey for a new and merciless race of vicious human-eating alien predators.
Tim Burton's Academy Award-nominated black and white stop-motion homage to Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' is a remake of his 1984 short of the same name. The story follows a young boy called Victor (voiced by Charlie Tahan), who harnesses the powers of science to bring his beloved pet dog, Sparky, back to life - with unexpected and alarming consequences.
