The Australian ballet perform Adolphe Adam's 'Giselle', with choreography by Marius Petipa. Giselle (Christine Walsh) is a poor peasant girl who grows insane and dies after being deceived by Prince Albrecht. She then becomes one of the Wilis - ghosts who trick travellers into performing an exhausting dance which eventually kills them.

Bad quality DVD

Very disappointing, the photography was out of focus. Petipa's choreography is repetitive and dated! Dancing good from what I could see.
