Essays in honour of David Kessler celebrating all aspects of his
life edited by his friend of many years, Alan Crown. The selection
and range of topics is wide, reflecting David's many interests over
the years: some reflect Anglo-Jewish history of which David has
been a part, while others discuss the Jewish press and publishing
in which he has been a key figure. A number of essays speak of
David's other ventures beyond the Jewish community - as well as
being active in local government and the preservation of our
environment, he has been influential in both the growing and
welcome relationship between Anglo-Jewry and the various churches
of other faiths in Britain.
