This unit DOES NOT come with a USB port so you are not able to connect directly to you PC and manage your UPS using the PowerChute software provided by Schneider. This also means that this unit CAN NOT connect to your network. It's a basic battery brick - nothing else. This also means that you are unable to turn off the annoying 4 beeps every 3 seconds when battery is in normal use. So very noisy and useless for anything other that a temporary power supply to very low power needs device or 2. Rather spend the extra R1000k + and get the Eaton 1500va WITH all the necessary USB ports and alarm switch off function. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and find it unacceptable that nowhere on the details and specs - on the box - or in the manual does it tell you that this unit lacks the very elements you would be buying this for. It's unacceptable, deviant and misleading.
