Smooth Withers calms you down with Lovely Day then the mood becomes dark and sad with Ain't No Sunshine. He becomes suspicious and confrontational with Who Is He (And What Is He To You)?. The hope in Just The Two Of Us tries to mend some broken fences. In Lean On Me he reminds us of the significance of friendship. I Want To Spend The Night leaves no doubt about where his mind is at. My other favourite songs, but only after listening to them a few times, are Hello Like Before, I Wish You Well and Grandma's Hands. The rest of the songs require your full attention if you happen to be in need of music that speaks to you with relevance & meaning.
