Maintenance and Care: |
- Remove all stickers before use and wash product with soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
- Before grilling or basting it is advisable to preheat fry pan or grill pan over a medium heat.
- Before preheating wipe a little cooking oil around the pan using kitchen paper.
- Avoid using excessive heat as this could cause food to burn and to stick to the pan, this could damage the enamelled coating.
- Use only non-metallic utensils when cooking.
- Never cut food whilst still in the pan, as this could damage the surface.
- Ensure that you have sufficient liquid during cooking.
- On glass-topped hobs, care should be taken to lift the cookware rather than sliding it across the surface, so as not to scratch the surface.
- The lid knobs on casseroles are suitable for use in the oven up to 220°c
- Burned food deposits can be removed by leaving the product to soak overnight in soapy water.
- Do not use abrasive pads to clean the product as this may damage the enamel.
- Dry well before storing.
- Wiping the interior with kitchen paper dipped in oil before storage is recommended, this will increase the longevity of the product.
