Documentary that examines the period David Bowie spent living in
Berlin in the 1970s. Overworked and struggling with drug addiction,
Bowie headed to Berlin in 1975 for relief from the stresses of LA
life. He lived with Iggy Pop, who was in a similarly dishevelled
state. Nonetheless, Bowie produced a series of albums in Berlin
that arguably rank among his best. The programme makes use of
archive interviews and performance footage to bring this period of
the musician's career to life.
