Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia is an inherited heart
muscle disorder that may cause abnormal electrical heart rhythms
and weakening of the pumping action of the heart, resulting in
sudden death. The electrocardiograph (EKG) is used to diagnose the
disease, so it is important for cardiac electrophysiologists to be
familiar with the disease and to be able? to recognize it on the
EKG.
