Now some part of me really wants to like this game alot....I do think its a great enhancement from the 1st DL ©2015...the graphics of the infected look somewhat enhanced & scenery....The skill tree to me was a bit,meh...maybe a few good skills caught my attention..but nothing great A few things I found with gameplay was having now a Stamina meter when climbing vertical heights,buildings..That was a Major Step backward..climbing vertical heights became a pain for me as I would climb a vertical height then with the stamina bar running out I would plunge to my death ,that was an impedance to game play for me....It only got better once you go on a treasure hunt for GRE inhibitor crates to negate stamina depletion...the main focus of the game is PARKOUR FFS!!! let the fluidity of the game have its flow, dont try encumber that.. Another negative was the inability to repair a weapon right there & then...For instance I enjoy slashing & hacking zombies now I had  flee from them as the game did away with the ability to repair a depleted weapon......Another step backward Lastly a Immunity countdown timer when you enter a dark Zone, your health starts depleting due to the infection that protagonist Aiden Caldwell has. only once when you acquire more GRE inhibitor crates you can increase your immunity ...that also caused me not to venture alot out at night as my health would deplete if I had no UV mushrooms in my inventory or if I couldnt find a Safe Zone with UV protection in time----also for me a massive step backward I couldnt really care less about the decisions made in the game as the game is very decisive as to who gets what & controls what region... I had high expectations for DL2 from all the hype that the developers & reviewers made it out to be ,but I think theres a few things in  the game that could've been left out, Less is sometimes more in certain cases..but thats my opinion...Kyle Crane in DL1 had attitude which also made the game,Aiden Caldwell seemed docile & lacked some form of witt But,play the game for yourself, maybe you will enjoy it
