Garfield Gets Real (DVD)

Cartoonist Jim Davis must be the only man in the world who knows that Garfield doesn’t exist! To the rest of us, he’s our favourite cat – and the more obnoxious he becomes, the more we love him for it!

In this computer-generated animated full-lengther, Garfield gets thoroughly bored with his day-to-day celebrity life in Comic Strip Land. He contrives to escape into the Real World…and unfortunately Odie follows him there. However, the grass is always greener...and our feline hero soon discovers that life in the Real World is not nearly as easy as he first thought. He also realises that unless he gets the two of them back to Comic Strip Land before the next newspaper goes to print, the Garfield comic strip will be cancelled!

The film is mainly about their misadventures, as they encounter a whole minefield of obstructions as they try to get back home in order to beat the deadline!

Garfield is back in this completely CGI animated full-length movie. Garfield is frustrated with the monotany of life as a comic strip star, and longs to escape into the real world. But when he and Odie accidentally get transported out of Cartoon World, life outside the comic strip is not as easy and safe as he expected.

Garfield and Odie soon realize the error in their ways, but face an uphill adventure in trying to get back home while running out of time, because with it's star missing, the newspaper editors had no option but to announce that they will replace the Garfield comic strip.
