Every action has consequences. One confrontation, one punch, one
bullet - something as simple as a gesture on a train - all can
change the course of history. British diplomat Dr Philip Raven
knows the world is on a knife edge. But he is about to see how
history might have played out differently. How there could be a
better future for those who dare to grasp it. An emissary from that
future has come to show him. The Shape of Things to Come. The Shape
of Things to Come is the third of six full-cast adaptations in 2017
of the works of British Sci-Fi writer extraordinaire Herbert George
Wells. Busy director Lisa Bowerman has worked with Big Finish since
1998, when she played Doctor Who companion Professor Bernice
Summerfield - a role that continues to this day! Star Nichola
Walker is one of the most regarded British actors on stage and
screen - and is currently in two peak-time TV shows, Unforgotten
and Last Tango in Halifax. Sam Troughton - familiar as Much the
Miller's Son in BBC's Robin Hood (2006-2009) is the grandson of
Doctor Who's the Second Doctor, actor Patrick Troughton, and
brother to cricketer Jim Troughton. CAST: Nicola Walker (Jane), Sam
Troughton (Raven), Ewan Bailey (Arden Essende), Simon Greenall
(Hooper Hamilton), Eve Webster (Moira Caruso/ Anna), Duncan Wisbey
(Titus Cobbett), Stuart Milligan (Benito Caruso).
