With a title like that you know this book is all about cupcakes!
Vegan cookery has, to some extent, an uncalled for reputation of denial. How can you possibly have great desserts if you don’t use eggs or refined sugar, butter, cream etc. Being married to a man who can eat whatever he wants to and never puts on a gram (I have to add here that he exercises every day, runs, plays golf, lifts weights and waterskis five times a week…) and who eats dessert every day, I wanted to find recipes that would make him think he was not eating the healthy vegan food he eats every day at home. I am the cook and I am the vegan… he doesn’t cook and he is not vegan!
Buy this book and see for yourself how vegan cakes can actually be the ‘real thing’.
Sure, we are not talking low-fat or total health here… but we are talking vegan. So for those of you who dream of making fluffy cupcakes without the use of any animal products, this is what you have been waiting for!
