Stop holding an charge and static in sound when switched on

Bought this unit in 29 Oct 2019, worked fine till around March 2020 (5 Month). Issues now is the unit do not hold an charge and there is massive static sound coming from the unit when it is switch on. I've tried reset it and still the same. The other issue is that there is no guarantee on the unit so we can return and sort it out. However the product does have an Monopoly on the market of kids BT headphones with an proper limiter and a brand we we should trust.

One week out of warranty, and the headphones have bricked - absolutely no life. Do not charge, do not turn on, nothing. Avoid these.
