The director of this movie really did a good job in keeping the feeling of the 80's original version. The effects and camera work is not filled with typical contemporary melodrama. The director really did a lot with an obvious small budget. The story is tense, unpredictable and quite scary. For fans of Rose Red, The Gates of Hell, Ginger Snaps and What lies Beneath.
