Collection of three horror films. In 'Whisper' (2007), when David
Sandborn (Blake Woodruff), the ten-year-old son of a wealthy New
England socialite (Teryl Rothery), is kidnapped, his abductor, Max
Truemont (Josh Holloway), and his seedy henchmen assume it will be
a routine snatch in exchange for a nice big ransom. Unbeknown to
the kidnappers, however, the shy and reserved David has his own
agenda, and a mysterious way of seeing into other people's minds.
Soon, Max and his cronies will wish that they had never even heard
of David, much less abducted the boy. In 'Asylum' (2007), when a
group of college students discover that their new university
dormitory used to be a mental asylum, they unwittingly awaken the
spirit of one of the hospital's deranged doctors. The sadistic
scientist then proceeds to torment and torture the students by
awakening terrifying memories from their troubled pasts. Finally,
in 'The Deaths of Ian Stone' (2007), a man finds himself having to
die a new death with every new day. When a strange creature forces
him into the path of an oncoming train, Ian Stone (Mike Vogel)
believes his life is finally over. But when he wakes, Stone finds
himself reborn into another, different life, though one with a
strangely familiar feel. As the creature returns once again to
stalk his prey, Stone realises that if he is ever to break the
ongoing cycle of death, he has to uncover the secrets about his
life that are responsible for his living nightmare.
