Sabio. Se supone que proceden de la India y que fueron difundidas
en Occidente por el Islam. Destacan por su enorme plasticidad
narrativa, la irona y el juego con el tiempo, el lenguaje y la
moral. These fables were translated from the Arabic by decree of
Alfonso el Sabio. It is believed they originated in the Indian
subcontinent and were brought to the West through the Islamic
