Lize Ehlers - Change (CD)

Lize Ehlers third album, Change, is a true reflection of her life s journey and also showcases her ability as a songwriter and artist. Drawing from the various Namibian cultures, her German background and her love for a vast variety of music, Change offers something for all music lovers. The album speaks to themes of peace and positivity, spinning together forward-moving harmony.

The album was produced by Rixi Roman who has also worked with acclaimed artists such as Karin Zoid, Laurika Rauch, Louis Brits, Retief Burger and many more.

About Lize Ehlers:

A celebrated Namibian singer/songwriter, Lize is a Nama Award Winning Artist, 9-time Namibian Music Awards Nominee for her independent albums Fairy Circle Love (2011), African Cleavage (2012) single Uyelele (2013) Best Live Performer & Best Single Non Album Woestynroos (2014). This proudly Namibian singer has won artist of the month awards and was nominated as the Namibian Ambassador of the Arts in 2013 and is the recipient of the top 5 Standard Bank Woman of Excellence Award.

With various collaborative performances with S.A world and jazz heroes like Jimmy Dludlu and Solaelo Selota, Lize has shared stages with Zaharah and Simphiwe Dana and recently proudly represented Namibia at the recent Afriganza concert where she performed Woestynroos with Andries-Hendrik Potgieter to a live and TV audience of over 13 Million. Lize is not only a singer. As recipient of the Best Actress Award in Namibia 2007 2008, Lize works in various forms of art. Having hosted all UB40 s Concerts in Namibia in 2011, her performances range from singing, hosting, acting, reciting, scripting and directing among various others.

As Trustco s Star Performer Judge Lize Ehlers together with her co-judges, traveled all over Namibia searching for top Namibian talent in 2013 .
