The Transporter, Frank Martin (Jason Statham) is back! He’s in Florida, and using his newly-purchased Audi to convey young Jack Billings (Hunter Clary) to and from school.
Because of his high-profile father Jeff Billings (Matthew Modine), Jack is kidnapped by a Colombian drug cartel who pose as doctors, and released on payment of a large ransom. However, he has been infected with a deadly virus that will kill anyone who comes into contact. This will include Jeff, who has scheduled a meeting of many anti-drug organisations from all over the world.
Frank takes matters into his own hands, and discovers that there is an antidote. As he desperately goes in search of it, a bomb is placed under his car…
The sad-faced French police inspector, Tarconi, (Francois Bereland) appears in this sequel too – but in a very minor role, compared to the original. However, the overall action (including the driving) are well up to par, and the many fans of the first Transporter movie will not be disappointed!
Jason Statham returns in his signature role: ex-Special Forces
operative Frank Martin, aka The Transporter. Now retired in Miami,
Martin makes a living driving for a wealthy family, including twin
brothers with whom he has unexpectedly bonded. But when the boys
are abducted, Martin must use all his skills to bring them to
safety and discover the kidnapper's master plan.
