I haven't purchased this item from Takealot, but thought I'd review it anyway. Buying a Maglite will most probably guarantee that it's the last flashlight you ever buy. The device is made of very high quality materials, and you feel it in the reassuring weight. It is extremely tough - I've dropped it on cement before and it still works. I bought mine in 2006, and the batteries which were in them since then are still running. I will highly recommend this to anybody looking for a flashlight.
