defeated the NFL's Minnesota Vikings to become Super Bowl
champions. It was the defining moment for the American Football
League's best team. SUPER CHIEFS is a collection of narratives,
anecdotes, and stories from the Kansas City Chiefs glorious decade
(1960-69) in the AFL. The Chiefs won more games than any other team
in the league, captured three AFL championships, and placed seven
players on the All-Time AFL team. It wasn't easy. Fighting through
a change of cities, various setbacks, and tragedies, the Chiefs
also recorded many triumphs as they rose to the top of the pro
football world.
