The New Incomplete Complete and Utter History of Britain (DVD)

The surviving episodes from the 1969 comedy sketch show written by and starring Michael Palin and Terry Jones. The premise of the show was to imagine how history may have been recorded had television been around throughout the centuries. The sketches include Richard the Lionheart bragging about what he got up to in the Crusades, William the Conqueror reflecting on a battle in the manner of a football manager post-game and the thoughts of a commentator, Professor Weaver (Roddy Maude-Roxby).
