Paul Smith Essential Eau De Toilette (50ml) - Parallel Import

Aspiring to be a professional cyclist, it was not until a serious injury forced British designer Paul Smith to consider other options for his future. Shifting his focus, Smith became serious about his work at a clothing warehouse, which led to an opportunity at a boutique, which encouraged him to open his own shop in 1970 at the age of 24. With support from his girlfriend, who later became his wife, Smith enrolled in night classes to improve his tailoring skills subsequently working towards his dream of creating his own fashion line.

By 1976 Smith was working as a consultant to an Italian shirt manufacturer as well as to the International Wool Secretariat. It was also the same year he introduced his first menswear collection in Paris—Smith did not debut his women’s collection until 1998. He gradually built his business over the years and is known for his personal touch—Smith still advises and oversees each division of his business and has input as to the operation of his shops. Paul Smith Ltd currently has over 225 shops and concessions, of which over 200 are in Japan, where the Paul Smith line is highly regarded.

In conjunction with Inter Parums Inc. Paul Smith launched his first self titled women’s perfume and men’s cologne, Paul Smith, in 2000. Other popular Paul Smith perfumes include Paul Smith Rose in 2007 and Paul Smith Floral in 2005 as well as Paul Smith Extreme perfume and cologne in 2003.
