An insight into the making of Phil Collin's solo album debut, 'Face
Value'. After a successful career as drummer for prog-rockers
Genesis during the Seventies, the turn of the decade saw Phil
deciding to strike out on his own. The result was a record that
spent six years in the British Top 75 and yielded hit singles like
'In The Air Tonight', 'I Missed Again' and 'If Leaving Me Is Easy'.
This video features rare archive footage of the recording process,
interviews with the musicians who contributed to it, and an
interview with engineer Hugh Padgham, who reveals exactly what was
on the original master tapes.
