At age 55, Maggie is losing the battle with her fear of failure and
small designer dogs. At the advice of her psychiatrist, she and her
friend Cher embark on a series of ill-conceived hobbies. Whether
hunting for a fabled lizard man in the swamps of South Carolina, or
panning for gold, their adventures are sure to test the limits of
common sense. When archaeology student, Paul Lakeland stumbles too
close to a secret goldmine, he becomes a liability to Bear's
clandestine mining operation. Bear's attempts to kill Paul before
he can leak the mine's location meet with repeated disaster. The
bumbling would-be assassin finally succeeds ... in killing the
wrong man. Paths cross in a small South Carolina town, where a
secret from Cher's past entangles the girls in a murder
