Creates unwanted noise
Mon, 15 Feb 2016 | Review

The monitor does what it minimally has to. But I use my laptop for audio with a pedal board, guitar amp, etc.
The monitor pushes back (both via earth casings of VGA and HDMI) a really annoying hum to my laptop and then into the rest of my audio equipment. (It's not a ground loop problem: I can run the laptop on batteries, and my pedal board can run on batteries, and my amplifier is double insulated (i.e. not earthed). It happens even if I leave the laptop switched off and unplugged, but connected to the monitor via VGA and to the audio equipment via USB.
I've tried various things (running power from another room to the monitor), moving the monitor further away, extra earth ties between my laptop and the pedal board, etc. No joy. Somehow the Samsung circuitry is creating electrical noise across its earth, and this is infecting my system.
Nice enough monitor, but definitely not recommended for a sound studio or any situation in which you care about the audio hum.

Stopped working after 3 months

This monitor suddenly stopped working after just three months of normal use. Up until that point the display was crystal clear, and regardless of what a lot of people say, it DOES actually tilt. Needless to say, failing to power up after less than 100 days is a bit of a dealbreaker...

Has HDMI but no speakers or couldn't see audio out (pass through)
My back video & POWER input panel is very loose/unSecured. Tricky to get HDMI in with out it moving back something wrong there
looks better with PS4 on HDMI
