This hob stopped working after only 7 months in use. Needs a new PCB Board!!!!!!!!!!

This hob was installed in July 2020 in a brand new kitchen. It stopped working in January 2021. Less than 7 months of use and I already need to buy a whole new PCB board for it. As it was purchased on Loot in Feb 2019 it is not under warranty any more. I believe I paid about R2399 for the hob but a new PCB board costs R1799. The Agent, Nuworld, is not interested in customer support or indeed in aftersales services. They do not care that we only got 7 months of use of the product. I absolutely cannot recomment Sunbeam or Nuworld and Loot should stop marketing products that are so unreliable as their customers are being let down badly. Needless to say I will throw this hob out, and seek another hob. I will also make sure to avoid Sunbeam products at all costs. If you go on Hello peter, you will see plenty of bad reviews of all their products and their customer care services team. Definitely one to avoid.
