A triple-bill of children's features. In 'Flicka' (2006), Katy McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) is a headstrong 16-year-old, eager to show her father that she is mature enough to manage the family ranch one day. In an attempt to prove her capabilties, she befriends and attempts to tame a wild mustang.
In the sequel, 'Flicka 2' (2010), hard-bitten city girl Carrie (Tammin Sursok) finds it difficult adapting to a new life when she moves to her father (Patrick Warburton)'s horse ranch in Wyoming. But her days soon brighten when she meets a wild mustang named Flicka and falls for a young local cowboy.
Finally, in 'Flicka: Country Pride' (2012), with his wild mustang Flicka by his side, Toby (Clint Black) finds work at a struggling equestrian farm run by widower Lindy (Lisa Hartman) and her daughter, Kelly (Kacey Rohl).
As Kelly takes a shine to Flicka, hoping to enter him in an upcoming competition, the underhand activities of a rival trainer threaten the long-term future of the stables, leaving it up to Toby to try and save the day.
