Divorced Vietnam veteran turned postman Jacob Singer (Tim Robbins) is disturbed when he begins to be plagued by bizarre and violent hallucinations, both of the family he has abandoned and a bloody battle he could not previously remember. So strong are the images that the line between past and present, real and unreal, begins to dissolve. Desperate for help, Jacob turns to his ex-wife, Sarah, and chiropractor Louis (Danny Aiello).

Review This Product

Great movie, back lackluster blu ray release

Sun, 18 Dec 2022 | Review by: bradley S.

Disappointing presentation and lack of features. I was expecting more from a studio canal release since they are highly regarded. But, this felt very barebones and disappointing after wanting to buy it for so long. Some bonus features like behind the scenes, interviews, or commentary would have been nice. But nope, all you get is scene selection and two audio choices, think it was 2.1 and dolby atmos 5.1. It is, however, a great movie and one I am happy to own. It's the only available release. (Excluding DVD and NTSC versions) The quality looked very good, and I was pleased with the viewing experience. Fantastic thriller/horror movie, and it got approval from a picky movie viewer in our house. I am very happy with it, though, as said before, the lack of anything else included lowered the score.
