RHYME IS NOT A CRIME In this, his second collection of self-created
experimental forms, D.E.Walsh explores the intricacies of modern
poetry by going through his archives to examine the ideas sometimes
seemingly forgotten in contemporary verse. Although many of the
works appear autobiographical and/or introspective, they represent
a statement about the essence of today's poetics and the nature of
the craft itself. Containing both rhymed and open formats with a
middle section of 21st-century Psalms to reflect his journey
towards, and with, the Lord, these works span more than a decade of
devoted writing and an improvement in the ability to illuminate the
core of the human condition.
