Value for money

I'm very happy with my purchase and considering the price I can recommend it for a starter or someone who services his/her own car. I used it to torque a sump plug bolt and a new washer to the correct spec. I found it a bit annoying that I couldn't find out much about the torque wrench online, so it was a blind purchase. It does have a locking mechanism (a sliding collar), and there is a button that you press to insert and remove a socket. The biggest thing that I'm not a huge fan of was the preload that the torque wrench came with. It was stored at 25Nm (constant load on the mechanism). The case does not allow the torque wrench to be stored while having no load on it (minimum 20 Nm required to fit). So I will have to sand the case to make it bigger, because as you reduce the load the wrench becomes longer. What also bugs me is that it was certified on 18 November 2021, and I got it on 5 September 2022, so it's been a while that it had the 25Nm load on it. So, those are my two scents on the product. I can recommend it for the DIYer or a mechanic starting out, and that will upgrade down the line.
