UPS 12V 2A 22wh Router Backup

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) will power your device during load shedding. Device will be powered using the internal 18650 Li-po batteries to ensure your devices are power even when there is not grid power available.
22.2wh storage available. Will run your internet router or fibre router for approximately 2.5hours depending on the type of router.
System comes with a 5.5mmx2.5mm cable which is compatible with 5.5mmx2.1mm plug sockets as well.

Router UPS

No power supply cord included in this. If you have Fibre like me, not the best option as you need to power 2 routers... One running from fibre box to home and the other from that vox to the wifi router. This can only power 1. The cable included does not fit my D link wifi router, only fits the fibre converter box. Means i have to get 2 of these + the power cables plus another cable to fit wifi router rendering this option too expensive for my needs!

Great Product

The product does exactly what is meant to do. It last at least 4 hours which is usually enough for the duration of the power-cuts. Yes, it comes without the power cord, but the router already has the power supply that fits perfectly. It comes with a cord that is designed to power 2 routers simultaneously.

Works great in load shedding!

My old UPS would barely last an hour of load shedding, while this can do the full 2 hour duration with ease. Note: This 12V UPS sits between the original AC power supply of your router and the router itself. Not sure why people are expecting this DC battery to come with an AC power supply.

Very poor lifespan

Bought in mid-June. It worked well while it was working, allowing me to keep my router running through load shedding. Now, 6 months later, the battery is already completely dead and won't last more than 10 minutes. I was quite aware of turning it on and off before and after load shedding, so don't think my usage was unreasonable, just a very poor battery
