Here, this is a mixture of gospel and soul which shows a different side of Whitney. This makes me think that maybe Whitney Houston could have been better served by making a lot more gospel albums that are as powerful as this one. Her own personal struggles may have not been as insurmountable as they seem to have been for her over the years with Bobby Brown making matters worse. Maybe, for her, gospel would have given her time to step back and step away from her fast paced lifestyle so that she could build her faith from within her.
