Automate your home cleaning with the intelligent Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner & Charging Dock. It utilises a Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) that rotates 360 degrees and scans your environment at a rate of 1800 scans per second. This scanner then maps out your environment in realtime for its AI to optimise cleaning routes. This smart vacuum cleaner is equipped with a powerful Nidec motor for uninterrupted movement and durable bumpers to protect itself when cleaning near walls and other objects.

It has a 5200mAh Li-ion battery which provides two and a half hours of run time on a full charge. The charging dock plugs into your wall and acts as a “home-base” for the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner to come back to for charging when done with its cleaning.

The Mi Home smartphone app is fully featured, allowing you to remotely switch the device on, control the vacuum cleaner, change cleaning modes, set schedules and view a generated map of your environment and the paths that the vacuum cleaner takes.

Works as advertised. The only problem so far is it tries to go up on things that's even as high as 1 - 2cm, a cat scratching post foundation is a problem as it tries to climb up, so it cold eventually get stuck on that, also the same with a floor mat that it tries to get onto but pushes the edges underneath the robot and almost gets stuck on that, so the mat will have to be picked up from the floor every-time you clean, small/thin mats seems to be fine though. One thing that you might want to get is a virtual barrier, it does not come with the robot, so it needs to be purchased separately.

Exactly as advertised however it does struggle to find the docking station once it needs to charge. Definitely not for small loose carpets. Completely impressed.

Impressive in South Africa

Living in South Africa, not being exposed to these items, we decided to buy one. Being expensive here we had to put a lot of thought into this purchase. Yes, it is worth it, amazing little machine, dust bin a bit small if you have two labradors living in you house. But cleaning the house everyday will reduce the bin emptying. Struggles with climbing areas about 2cm high, gets up sometimes without a struggle and other times it needs assistance. In general it works perfectly, will buy it again and again. Oh yes, be mindfull of long hair carpets, they are not friends.

Perfect automated intelligent vaccuum!

We really struggled with our pets shedding hair and so our house required constant vacuuming. But with this device, we come home to a clean and hair-free house, everyday! You can set it to clean when you are at work, and it is extremely simple to use! The app is very user-friendly for South Africa. I only have good things to say about this powerful device and have recommended it to all my friends! Very happy!

Amazing!

Really happy I spent the extra money and went for this one. The smart features are amazing! I can start/stop cleaning from literally anywhere in the world as long as I am connected to the internet. The scheduling is also awesome
