This approach helps readers to develop and affirm a better understanding of the relevant concepts and solutions necessary to achieve clean energy and sustainable development in both medium and large-scale industries.
Prolonged stress has long been shown to have major effects on the development of both type of diabetes mellitus, Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that is characterized by the immune system attacking self-antigens. There is a failure or breakdown in immunological tolerance to allow this to happen. Prolonged physical or emotional stress can activate the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis to induce production of the stress hormone glucocorticoid, causing abrupt thymus involution and result in escape of autoreactive T- cells. Though regulatory T-cells (Treg) are present in the circulation, they are unable to suppress the autoreative T-cells from initiating the destruction of -cells and the subsequent development of Type 1 diabetes. Stress also causes metabolic disturbances, including altered hepatic glucose metabolism, increased peripheral insulin resistance and hyperglycemia. Glucocorticoid is the potential contributor to the chronic hyperglycemia that results in insulin resistance and -cell dysfunction via the generation of oxidative stress which ultimately leads to the development of Type 2 diabetes."
This book deals with Turbulence and MHD Turbulence. The presentation of this book is straightforward and comprehensible by the learner also. Researchers who thoroughly study this book will be well prepared to make significant contributions to analyze Turbulence and MHD Turbulence. This book will assist the physicists, chemists, applied mathematicians, engineers, and environmentalist, who undertaking research on Turbulence. The book included a widespread bibliography. This book mainly expresses the decay of turbulence and MHD turbulence before the final period.
BSCIC industrial area is a combined industrial area. Different types of industry are present here. This study was conducted to identify the pollution and its minimization options. The values of Na+ (157.65 mg/L), K+ (19.8 mg/L), Ca+ (33.3 mg/L), Mg+ (7.64 mg/L), HCO3-(130 mg/L), SO42-(18.5 mg/L), are higher than the standard that has a negative impact on aquatic species. On the other hand heavy metal concentration Al3+ (15 mg/L) higher than the standard value, Cu2+ (0.164 mg/L), Cr6+ (0.0066 mg/L), Mn2+ (BDL) Zn2+ (BDL) are closed to the standard value. Kiam metal industry (40%), Perfect Tobacco industry (25%), MRS industry (15%), BRB cable industry (20%), responsible for water pollution. On the other hand Northern jute mill (18%), Kiam metal industry (25%), BRB Polymer industry (21%), MRS industry (25%), and BRB cable industry (11%), are responsible for Noise pollution. Due to noise pollution Headache (15%), Heart pain (10%), Sleepless (25%), Hearing problem (40%), Blood Pressure (7%), Others diseases (3%). To mitigate this problem everybody should conscious about industrial pollution.
In the context of global food security, ensuring sustainable agricultural production is a major concern. It's a vital issue in those countries like Bangladesh, where agriculture acts as a prevailing sector for national economy. Around 80% of the total population living in the rural areas of Bangladesh, are engaged in different agricultural activities for the sake of their livelihood. But in the current era, this sector is passing through some uncertainties due to the concurrent climate change. It has been well recognized that, due to climate change, Khulna district, one of the largest south west coastal regions of Bangladesh would be the worst victimized cities over the whole world. Besides fisheries, agriculture is the primary occupation in this coastal area. For reduction of fish production, people who were engaged with fisheries are now changing their livelihood to agriculture. At the micro scale, local farmers are experiencing the losses due to the infrequent abnormal changes of climatic parameters specially the temperature and precipitation. Through this study, an attempt was taken to explore the local evidence of climatic variability as well as its impact on crop production.
Throughout the human civilization, no issue has been as catchy as change. This change occurs, sometimes, rapidly while its motion is very slow in other times as it were music. Notably, Bedeys, who had been traditionally keeping their life-styles unchanged and do not usually welcome any change, are also changing their socio-economic, socio-political and cultural environment. So, now is the time to talk about the changes that occurred in Bedey communities in Bangladesh. After reviewing the literature in this field, it was found that most of the previous studies showed merely coherent pictures of the Bedey's life styles. Hence, "Bedey Community of Kanchonpur: A Sociological Study" is a great endeavour to scrutinize how and why the Bedeys are getting settled; how they are reshaping and recognizing their society under a different social setting; and what major changes they are welcoming, and to explore why changes are occurring in Bedey communities. Thus, the present work will help the future researchers conduct the rigorous studies in this arena, and find out the determinants of changes in Bedey communities of Bangladesh towards rethinking a sociology of professional minority groups.
This study, qualitative in nature, set out to identify the most common factors contributing to absenteeism amongst Bangladeshi pupils in Westminster, London. Cross-sectional examination of the perceptually developed hypotheses was mainly carried out in five primary schools and one secondary school, located in different geographical areas of the Westminster Local Education Authority. The sample included 140 pupils (100 primary and 40 secondary), most of their parents guardians, head teachers, teachers, home-school liaison workers, community leaders/workers, Westminster Education Welfare Officers, LEA Officers and Attendance Advisor at DfES. Semi-structured interview and questionnaire schedules were used as the main tools for data generation. The findings of the study suggested that poor health was the most prevalent reason for low attendance among the focus group, followed by extended holidays which resulted in considerable numbers of absences - both authorised and unauthorised. Family poverty did not evidently appear to be a causal explanatory issue for poor health and low attendance of the pupils.
