Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.
This book describes the mathematical underpinnings of algorithms
used for molecular dynamics simulation, including both
deterministic and stochastic numerical methods. Molecular dynamics
is one of the most versatile and powerful methods of modern
computational science and engineering and is used widely in
chemistry, physics, materials science and biology. Understanding
the foundations of numerical methods means knowing how to select
the best one for a given problem (from the wide range of techniques
on offer) and how to create new, efficient methods to address
particular challenges as they arise in complex applications. Aimed
at a broad audience, this book presents the basic theory of
Hamiltonian mechanics and stochastic differential equations, as
well as topics including symplectic numerical methods, the handling
of constraints and rigid bodies, the efficient treatment of
Langevin dynamics, thermostats to control the molecular ensemble,
multiple time-stepping, and the dissipative particle dynamics
method.

Senior year at Pinesport High School is over, but the devastating
aftermath from Project RedStar now haunts the rural town. For
Greysen Hill, the true nightmare is only just beginning. With his
cover still intact, Greysen dives deeper into Dr. Hopewell's
genetically enhanced Lectrol world of deceit at the elite Farragut
Academy. His entrance into this dark realm takes a heavy toll on
him physically and emotionally with danger lurking behind every
corner. This is the closest the country has been to civil war in
over a century and a half. The Loors commit to further their
humanitarian cause by opening the world's first Loor Institute.
Determination propels both parties toward an inevitable deadly
conflict, unless Greysen can find a way to intervene and fulfill
his destiny. Pinesport Divide: Behind the Gates is the exciting
second installment of the Pinesport Divide trilogy from Charles
Matthews.

With The Republic of Grace Charles Mathewes aims to supply a primer
of politics and the public square to help Christians in these dark
times find hope in public life. He asks such questions as How
should our Christian convictions lead us to see the world
differently than those who do not share them? What are the
categories that believers should use to act on the challenges of
the world?
Mathewes uses theological virtues best loved by Augustine faith,
hope, and love to provide an analogical mirror for Christian
citizenship in a post9/11 American world. He examines not how
religion has shaped our politics but rather how politics has shaped
and mis-shaped our religious life and how we can begin to correct
that shape.
The Republic of Grace will help reignite and inform a fierce
commitment to the common good of our society, caring concern for
the least and most vulnerable, and the use of each persons gifts,
power, and wealth as a force for good and justice in the world. In
short, this book will enable readers to realize the sacramental
possibilities of political life.
Greyson Hill expected his senior year at Pinesport High to be the
best . His best friend, Trak, was back from spending his summer at
Farragut Academy, a special school catering to the elite LECTROLS
society. Genetically improved, LECTROLS are physically enhanced
humans who are stronger, faster, and far more aggressive than their
normal counterparts. Their physical prowess ensures their dominance
in school and in society. Trak and Greyson had always been as close
as brothers and they never let anything come between them. That
might change if Trak was aware of Greyson's unrequited love towards
Trak's girlfriend, the beautiful Leara. When Greyson stumbled
across the deadly PROJECT REDSTAR, he discovers there is another
race of enhanced humans who chose to remain hidden. Greyson
realizes that a race war is brewing and he has to stop it before it
erupts. But in order to do so, he must betray those he cares about
the most.
