In this book you will find a sampling of selected poems from each of my (16) collections. I was blessed to have a number of wonderful individuals help me in selecting just the right poems (of the most than 1300 written over a half century) to be included.
a collection of poetry about dreams
Songs about love found, love desired, love lost and , at times, a little bit of lust. Throw in a little bit of nostalgia and friendship and you have a whole package. Everybody has a song, a story, an anecdote to tell; one that expresses their innermost thoughts and feelings, both real and imagined. These pages try to give voice to that everyman within all of us; the pain, the sorrow, the joy and elation that comes and goes in all of our lives. Every nuance, every notion, every rhythm, every rhyme; every song is its' own story. Come along. We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll reminisce; we'll find each other.
We can all learn valuable lessons from personal introspection. This double collection of poems offers a mirror that refelcts back to the reader and gives an in-depth look at those things common to us all. Part 2 is a compilation of personal remembrances from childhood forward.
This double collection of poems includes light-hearted, whimsical pieces (Don't Shoot the Cook) and a deeper, more penetrating collection (Cuts to the Bone) that is not always kind to the senses.
This double collection bounces off the wall and teases the imagination. "Off the Wall" comes from out of nowhere and leads you to anywhere you want to go, while "Imagine That..." will conjure up images from your memory that you thought were long forgotten. Come take a journey into your own mind.

We all have secrets. Most of them are benign and only cause a certain amount of embarrassment when revealed. But what happens when someone's secrets spark a crime wave that result in one dead body after another? Who is David Christensen and why do certain people want him dead? This self-effacing messiah who's only purpose in life is to help others has been referred to as saint, savior and miracle worker, and yet there are those who would have him unmercifully executed. David's rise to international acclaim is chronicled here. The relationships, the miracles, the mystery, the phenomena that arose around him are all put into perspective in this detailed account of his short life. No one doubts that David Christensen is sincere in his efforts to reach out to others. It is when he enters the world of politics that his real problems begin; a world where truth is elusive at best and dangerous when given in large doses. He quickly makes powerful enemies. "Die Messiah" is the story of the rise and fall of a modern-day legend; a study of fiction in which truth is paramount; the tale of a world eager and anxious to accept a new messiah yet unable to cope with the consequences.
Rick Holden is a struggling writer. He has retreated to the seclusion of Avalon Estates to complete his latest novel, one based on magic and witchcraft. In returning to this Long Island manor after more than a dozen years he renews his acquaintance with the mysterious Jewel household. Ophelia, the lady of the manor, her weak-willed husband, Chester, her playboy stepson, Rad, the eccentric groundskeeper, the neurotic housekeeper, and the intoxicating niece, Phaedra. The Ancients say that life revolves in a great circle; no one ever really dies. Phaedra believed in the Ancient Mysteries. She had spent her entire life learning the ways of the Craft. Rick looks to Phaedra for instruction and inspiration. What he didn't expect to find was love. Phaedra is the story of a man and woman caught in an impossible situation that is out of their control. It is a story of faith that endures through the ages, of two people who continue to find each other, fight for each other and sacrifice all they have for love.
Cutting edge poetry
This is a two volume set of poetry that is easy to read, entertaining and has something to say. Simple rhythmic verse that poses questions (Posers to Ponder) and offers personal glimpses (Poetic Glimpses From a Window)of the world around us. Something for everyone.
