As defined by the editors of this book, `non-market entrepreneurship' consists of all forms of entrepreneurship not being undertaken solely for purposes of profit maximization or commercialization, and encompasses entrepreneurial activities such as social enterprise and entrepreneurship, public sector entrepreneurship, policy entrepreneurship, non-profit entrepreneurship, and philanthropic enterprise, among many others. The eminent cast of contributors gives coherence to the academic and public discussions on the topic, builds a theoretical edifice within the field of entrepreneurship and helps to establish and delineate the contours of the research on non-market entrepreneurship. The authors stake a meaningful claim in this burgeoning field, examining entrepreneurial activities in public affairs, the social sector, and the society and economy. Forms of non-market entrepreneurship are used with increasing frequency in the popular press, journal articles, and academic and practitioner conferences, but they are used inconsistently across different sectors, academic disciplines, and forums. By providing space for an interdisciplinary mix of top entrepreneurship scholars from across the world, this volume provides cohesion to these discussions and helps advance research in the field. Scholars and students in a variety of fields interested in the growing phenomenon of entrepreneurship will find this volume invaluable in the effort to define the field, consider theoretical perspectives and structure empirical research. Practitioners will also find much of value in this remarkable resource.
Finding God in the Graffiti encourages church educators, youth ministers, and students of ministry to connect the living reality of God through the use of powerful stories and narratives that will engage the youth in their church or Christian organization. It will inspire readers with many ways in which stories can engage youth educationally; provides a conceptual map of discipline for teaching and learning purposes; equips youth workers to practice a repertoire of narrative methods with young people; and gives practitioners conceptual tools to reflect on their practice with insight and precision.

A tale of love and lust, courage and cunning, Dewdrop on the Lotus tells the dramatic story of Padmavati Chauhan, a Rajput woman whose extraordinary beauty, courage, and intelligence, whose skills in the arts of women and warriors won from her fellow Rajputs the title Padmini ('lotus woman'). Early in 1303, Ala'ud-Din Khilji, Sultan of Delhi, marched his armies south from Delhi and laid siege to her home, Chittorgarh, the storied fortress-capital of Mewar. Hearing of her beauty, the sultan wanted to make her his own, but no one told him of her courage or intelligence-and she already had a husband, Ratan Singh Guhilot, the Rawal of Mewar. The "now" of the story spans twenty-two days from August 3 to August 25, 1303. Her trial begins when by trickery Ala'ud-Din captures her husband and demands, as part of the ransom, that she surrender herself to him. During this "now," the story weaves back and forth from present to past to explore those aspects of her beliefs, traditions, character, and experiences that shape her response, a response that has enshrined her forever in the legends of India.
Time Well Wasted reunites Brad with producer Frank Rogers for a 16-track collection sporting 10 selections from Paisley's pen, including the first single, "Alcohol," the fastest rising chart single of his career. Multiple guest stars appear on the album, including Alan Jackson, who duets on the Guy Clark/Darrell Scott tune, "Out in the Parkin' Lot," Dolly Parton (featured on "When I Get Where I'm Going") and a re-appearance by The Kung Pao Buckaroos (Bill Anderson, Little Jimmy Dickens and George Jones) along with James Burton and Parton."TIME WELL WASTED - the reason I chose this as the title of the album is it's just the epitome of the whole album. I hope somebody will put this in their car and spend as much time as they can listening beginning to end. It should feel like a live show - the progression and almost like a life journey. When they are done listening, there would be nothing more I would wish for someone than to feel like it was 'time well wasted,'" says Paisley.Since his debut in 1999, 5-time CMA award winner Paisley has established himself as one of country's finest entertainers. He has celebrated 6 million career units sold of his three-album catalog, Who Needs Pictures, Part II and Mud on the Tires. Mud on the Tires debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. It is now certified double platinum.

What if dreams are not what you think they are? Is our future already behind us? Are fairground attractions exactly what they claim to be? Should we listen to fortune-tellers? Could it be that the end of time is merely... the end of time? The stories in this collection ask all sorts of questions. Some of them also give answers. They're not always comforting, and not necessarily the answers you might have been expecting. Indeed, the unexpected is what you're likely to get. Frank Roger's stories cover a wide range of material, including and transcending the entire spectrum of fantastic literature. Some may detect an influence of Philip K. Dick's dark satires, of J. G. Ballard's poetic surrealism, perhaps even a dash of Jorge Luis Borges' intricate puzzles and labyrinths, lingering in readers' memories longer than anticipated. But in the end you will have to chart your own course through this maddening landscape constructed by a few scores of short stories. We hope you will make it safely to the exit. Wherever the exit happens to be. If there is one at all. -- Frank Roger was born in 1957 in Ghent, Belgium. His first story appeared in 1975. Since then he has written a few hundred stories which have appeared in more than 35 languages in all sorts of magazines, anthologies, and other venues. Working with a team that includes producers Frank Rogersand Dann Huff, songwriters Craig Wiseman, Rivers Rutherford, Tony Laneand Rascal Flatts' Jay Demarcus, and a stellar crop of Nashville's top session players, Trace Adkinshas strengthened his position as one of country music's most versatile and powerful artists. That versatility is once again strongly in evidence. With "Ladies Love Country Boys," "Swing," "Southern Hallelujah" and the title cut, Trace is back in the territory that has made his rowdy take on love and romance a staple of honky-tonks, dance floors and video screens. Then there are songs like "Words Get In The Way" and "I Wanna Feel Something," in which he explores that place in the male psyche that recognizes and struggles to rise above its own limitations, reaching out in pure need across the chasm that can exist between a man and a woman. "The Stubborn One" and "I Came Here To Live" are Trace at his emotional best, bridging generations to talk about those things we take from and give to each other, and the beautiful bond those interactions build through time. Through it all, Trace proves himself again to be one of the most engaging singers in the industry, with an eye for songs that draw power both from their sweep and from their telling details. In addition, Trace makes his debut as a producer, teaming in that role with Casey Beathardand Kenny Beardon "I Wanna Feel Something."The project's debut single provided plenty of evidence that Trace has found a way to make his art connect with the public. "Swing," with its clever use of baseball metaphors in describing the art of romantic pursuit, became an immediate favorite not only with fans but with Major League Baseball, which debuted it on its website, helping kick off a process whereby it became a favorite at baseball stadiums around the country.

Poetry. Translated from the Danish by Roger Greenwald. PICTURE WORLD is the first complete book by the Danish poet Niels Frank to be published in English. By turns funny and serious, ironic and sincere, droll and sly, conversational and playfully inventive, it draws the reader into a set of contemplations that grows more and more complex as its elements recur, reinforcing and undercutting one another, casting light but also doubt. As a poetic sequence in twenty-four parts, this is a work of high ambition. Its signal achievement is to use an accessible voice to present a deeply nuanced composition.
