An Unexpected Journey
Bilbo Baggins is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Sorcerers. Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain, first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever…Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of ingenuity and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities… A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.

The Desolation Of Smaug
Thorin and company have reached Lake-town and it is time for the hobbit Bilbo Baggins to fulfill his contract with the dwarves. The party must complete the journey to Lonely Mountain and burglar Baggins must seek out the Secret Door that will give them access to the hoard of the dragon Smaug. If Bilbo and the others are able to gain the treasure, will they be able to keep it? And will they discover what has become of the wizard Gandalf?

The Battle Of The Five Armies
Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world. Enraged, Smaug rains his fiery wrath down upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town. Obsessed above all else with his reclaimed treasure, Thorin sacrifices friendship and honor to hoard it as Bilbo’s frantic attempts to make him see reason drive the Hobbit towards a desperate and dangerous choice. But there are even greater dangers ahead. Unseen by any but the Wizard Gandalf, the great enemy Sauron has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide – unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends in the epic Battle of the Five Armies, as the future of Middle-earth hangs in the balance.

Martin Scorsese makes his first foray into children's cinema with this semi-fantastical drama based on a book by Brian Selznick. Asa Butterfield stars as Hugo, an orphan who lives in the hidden nooks of a train station in 1920s Paris. With the help of his friend, Isabelle (Chlo Moretz), he sets out to solve a mystery left behind by his late father (Jude Law): a curious puzzle involving a heart-shaped key, a cranky toy shop owner (Ben Kingsley) and a broken automaton. Along the way, the tangled lives of the staff and passengers at the station provide numerous colourful detours, and Scorsese pays homage to early pioneers of cinema including the Lumiere brothers and Georges Mlis. The film was nominated for eleven Oscars and won five awards including Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.

Based on her own book, the film follows American historian Deborah Lipstadt (Weisz)'s legal battle with British scholar David Irving (Spall) after he sued her and her publisher for accusing him of being a Holocaust denier in 1996. In the courtroom, Lipstadt and her British lawyers Anthony Julius (Andrew Scott) and Richard Rampton (Wilkinson) are made to prove that Irving was lying by denying the Holocaust and must therefore prove its occurrence in their defence. Desperate to take to the stand herself, Lipstadt is approached by numerous Holocaust survivors eager to testify but her legal team remain steadfast in their intention to keep the trial focused on Irving and on the validity of Lipstadt's claims.

All six films from director Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies. Set in Middle Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' (2012) follows the adventures of hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the dwarves' lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of a dragon. After setting out on their quest from the safety of Bag End, the band of travellers soon find themselves pitted against a range of strange and fearsome opponents, in addition to a small, slimy creature known simply as Gollum (Andy Serkis). In 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (2013), while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain. When they reach Lake-town Bilbo has to perform the role he was assigned at the start of the quest - to find a secret door that will lead him to the lair of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In the final instalment, 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' (2014), Bilbo, Thorin and the other dwarves have unintentionally released Smaug from the Lonely Mountain and endangered the residents of Lake-town. Bilbo and his friends must fight for their survival as five armies meet in battle. In 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' (2001) Frodo (Elijah Wood) is a hobbit living in the Shire, a quiet, peaceful part of Middle Earth. When it turns out that his elderly relative Bilbo (Ian Holm) is harbouring the ultimate Ring of Power and the evil Nazgul riders of Sauron are coming to find it, Frodo is entrusted by wizard Gandalf to deliver the Ring out of the Shire without it falling into their hands. Frodo leaves the Shire aided by his cousins Merry (Dominic Monaghan), Pippin (Billy Boyd) and trusty friend Sam Gamgee (Sean Astin), but they soon realise that the agents of Mordor are everywhere and that their trip is far from over. Once they reach the Elvish realm of Rivendell the hobbits form part of the anti-Sauron fellowship, which includes Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Boromir (Sean Bean), Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) and Gandalf. Together they must battle across Middle Earth to destroy the Ring by casting it into Mount Doom, the fiery chasm in the centre of Mordor. In 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' (2002) the Fellowship of the Ring has now divided and Sam and Frodo are lost in the hills of Emyn Muil. They are also being followed by Gollum, a creature who promises to help them travel to Mordor. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli search for the hobbits Merry and Pippin in the Kingdom of Rohan, which is currently being attacked by Saruman's orc armies. Gandalf returns as Gandalf the White to remind Aragorn of his destiny to unite the people of Rohan with Gondor. Whilst the Fellowship is not travelling together they must unite against the powerful forces coming from the Two Towers: Orthanc Tower in Isengard where Saruman has bred a deadly army of 10,000, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dr. Finally, in 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' (2003), Gandalf manages to rally Gondor's fallen army with the help of King Theoden of Rohan (Bernard Hill) for the biggest battle in the history of Middle Earth. Meanwhile, Aragorn finally faces up to his noble responsibilities. Although outnumbered, Gandalf's army are determined to keep Sauron distracted in order to enable Frodo to complete his quest to destroy the Ring by throwing it into the fires of Mount Doom.

Rookie cop Billy Costigan grew up in crime. That makes him the perfect mole, the man on the inside of the mob run by boss Frank Costello. It's his job to win Costello's trust and help his detective handlers bring Costello down. Meanwhile, detective Colin Sullivan has everyone's trust. No one suspects he's Costello's mole within the police department.

How these covert lives cross and collide is at the ferocious core of the Academy Award-winning The Departed. Martin Scorsese directs, guiding a cast for the ages in a visceral tale of crime and consequences. This is searing, can't-look-away filmmaking: like looking into the eyes of a con - or a cop - with a gun.

Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the shocking true-life story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort.

From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s. Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Money. Power. Women. Drugs.

Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.

Collection of four films starring Robin Williams. In 'Mrs. Doubtfire' (1993), Williams stars as difficult actor and husband Daniel Hillard who separates acrimoniously from his wife (Sally Field) and receives a court order limiting his visits to his children. As a result he dresses up as a Scottish nanny and gets employment with his ex-wife looking after his own kids. In 'Toys' (1992), when a benevolent toymaker dies he leaves his factory in the care of his army general brother (Michael Gambon), until his son Leslie (Williams) is mature enough to assume control. The General, however, re-structures the factory, and in a break with tradition begins to manufacture war toys, many of which, Leslie discovers, are more than playthings. 'Night at the Museum' (2006) stars Williams alongside Ben Stiller, Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke. Larry Daley (Stiller) is a kind-hearted dreamer who always knew that he was destined for greatness; he just never quite knew how. None of his ideas or inventions have panned out so, with a heavy heart, he takes a regular job as a lowly graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History in order to provide a more stable life for himself and his ten-year-old son, Nick (Jake Cherry). On his first night on the job, however, he finds that guardianship of the museum is far from stable. At nightfall an Egyptian spell brings the artefacts and wax figures to life and with Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher) declaring war through the hallways, Larry turns to a wax replica of President Roosevelt (Williams) for a little advice on keeping things in order. In the sequel, 'Night at the Museum 2' (2009), Stiller reprises his role as Larry Daley, the hapless security guard who encounters living and breathing museum exhibits. This time round, the Museum of Natural History has been closed for renovations, and the museum pieces moved into federal storage at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where the collection includes artefacts associated with many of the great figures of American history including Theodore Roosevelt (Williams), Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams), General Custer (Bill Hader) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Larry must infiltrate the museum's tight security to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan) who have been shipped there by mistake.

Collection of four Tim Burton films. The stop-motion animated musical 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (1993), produced and visualised by Tim Burton, is set in a parallel world where different lands represent different holiday periods. Skeleton Jack (voice of Chris Sarandon) from Halloween Town becomes converted to Christmas and sets out to spread joy in the world. However, when Jack's mission leads him to kidnap Santa (voice of Edward Ivory) it becomes clear that he is not really in tune with the Yuletide spirit. In 'Alice in Wonderland' (2010), based on the characters from the Lewis Carroll classics 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass', the 19-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the magical world of her childhood adventure to reunite with her friends the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Tweedledum and Tweedledee (both played by Matt Lucas), the Dormouse (Barbara Windsor), the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman) and the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry). Alice discovers her true destiny as she joins forces with the colourful denizens of Wonderland to overthrow the wicked Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter). 'Frankenweenie' (2012), Burton's black and white stop-motion homage to Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', is a remake of his 1984 short of the same name. The story follows a young boy called Victor (voice of Charlie Tahan), who harnesses the powers of science to bring his beloved pet dog Sparky back to life - with unexpected and alarming consequences. 'Ed Wood' (1994) is a biopic of one of Hollywood's worst film directors. Setting up shop in Tinseltown with plenty of enthusiasm but no discernible talent, Ed Wood (Depp) is undeterred when his debut feature, cross-dressing drama 'Glen Or Glenda' (in which he also stars) is a flop. He goes on to make 'Bride of the Monster', also a commercial and creative disaster, with ailing horror star Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau), before embarking on his most grandiose scheme yet: 'Plan 9 from Outer Space'...

Extended version of the second of three epic instalments in director Peter Jackson's prequel to 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. Set in Middle-Earth 60 years before events in 'The Lord of the Rings', the story follows the adventures of Hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who, at the instigation of the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), suddenly finds himself co-opted into joining a company of 13 Dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) to help reclaim the lost kingdom of the Lonely Mountain from the clutches of Smaug the dragon (voice of Benedict Cumberbatch). In this film, while Gandalf heads south on his own, Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves enter the treacherous Mirkwood Forest on their way to the mountain.
