Por casualidades de la vida, esta jovencita que le quito el sueno por tantas noches resulto muerta y el fue incriminado injustamente por lo que se vio obligado a emigrar ilegalmente a los Estados Unidos pero en el trayecto, se involucro con la hija de uno de los mas peligrosos narcotraficantes de Mexico y es entonces cuando su vida cambia totalmente. Teniendo que cruzar el desierto bajo las circunstancias mas adversas, recuerda las palabras sabias que le dijo su padre cuando era un adolescente, las cuales le sirven de balsamo para las heridas que le provocan las injusticias y los sufrimientos que tuvo que soportar.
