Deception necessitates raw and hurtful concepts, approximating manipulative costumes in appearances to engender the impression of being somebody or something else. It dresses itself up to convince another to believe information that is not true, or not the whole truth as partially truthful or as the whole truth. The Bible tells us "Satan has many wiles." Please note the word "Wiles" means tricks. In other words, Satan's activities are nothing more than psychological mind games. Clearly then, he is using these emotional games to manipulate his victims by his own set of rules. Every game has a set of rules which the players must adhere to. Hence, Satan's games are no different, except that he does not play fair by his rules. I can say without reservation that I was inadvertently a victim of his wicked amusement, as I was hoodwinked by my lustful desires to covet carnality. Thus, my desire to want more worldly possessions caused me to blindly play his games for many years without gain. Therefore, it is my objective to expose his tricks. Also, there were many Biblical characters who had played Satan's game and lost. Besides that, there are multitudes of Christians and non-Christians who are being deceived in thinking his game is the only pastime for their life. This book will explain that, as we submit to God's set of Laws, we will have better options to pursue our purpose in life. It is also my intention to prove Satan's games are major distractions to keep Christians and non-Christians from realizing their dreams, and to keep them from reaching their goals.

It is next to impossible for a man to reach the high calling of God if he is carrying the sin of unforgiveness in his life. Unforgiveness disrupts our spiritual man. The writer of Hebrews warns us about a root of bitterness: " See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15 NIV). When unforgiveness, is planted in our life we can be assured that it is the manure that makes the root of bitterness grow. If we fail to forgive, it sets a whole sequence of negative emotions off within us, which ultimately deprive us of our peace. This causes us to become bitter and resentful; since, a bitter root is in our life it will always produce bitter fruit. But, the depressing fixation about allowing the sin of unforgiveness to grow in your heart is---you are the big loser. Paul wrote that we should forgive: "In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes " 2 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV). God expects us to forgive others just as he has forgiven us. God, who is perfect, sacrificed his Son Jesus so that our sin, death penalty would be paid.

Our contemporary culture is teaching us that if we want to be accepted, we have to follow society's rules. In other words, we have to do something in order to receive their benefits. This thinking has spilled over into our Churches. To be precise, if you want to be saved, you have to do a host of religious rituals that have been taken from the Bible, used out of context and implemented by man as a criterion for salvation. I am convinced that such religious rules are the core problem that most Christians deal with when it comes to God's righteousness. Yet, most main stream denominations are convinced that if you are not doing something to gain salvation, then you do not deserve it. This is nothing more than a question of works However, listen to how Paul addresses the topic of works via salvation. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast" Ephesians 2:8-9. This verse is clear that we cannot be saved or righteous before God by our good works. Neither, are we able to keep the Mosaic commandments. "I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing" Galatians 2:21. Good works are not something Christians have to do; they are something we ought to want to do. Quite the opposite, when we know what God expects of us, it simply makes us more aware of where we have falling short. The Bible very clearly states that if we could become righteous by our own works, then Christ did not need to die: "If righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing: " Galatians 2:21b.
