Mormonism Unveiled is John Doyle Lee's confessional expos of malpractices in the Mormon Church, including his own role as an assassin responsible for several murders. In chronicling his years as a member of the church, Lee discusses how he came to meet and associate with Joseph Smith: the founder and prophet of Mormonism. The processes by which the charismatic Smith drew in followers is catalogued. Personal habits, including the notorious practice of polygamy where he would take multiple wives, are mentioned. Lee himself partook enthusiastically in polygamy, taking a total of 19 wives and siring some 56 children. After Joseph Smith's death at the hands of an angry mob in 1844, Brigham Young assumed control of the Mormon Church. It was under Young that several of the most controversial schemes associated with Mormonism entailed. For his part John D. Lee became an enforcer, carrying out orders from Brigham Young in appropriating belongings of fellow Mormons, such as cattle from impoverished ranchers.

The chapters explore technical considerations, methodological issues, special and impaired populations, evaluation of in-vehicle and nomadic devices, and infrastructure evaluations. Having a solid evidence-base from which to develop injury countermeasures is a cornerstone of road-safety management. This is a reprint of the 1891 edition of John Doyle Lee's autobiography and story of Brigham Young and the earliest days of Mormonism, which was written after Lee's conviction for the 1857 attack on an Arkansas immigrant wagon train camped at Mountain Meadows, Utah, and originally published in 1877. Lee was the only member of the Church of Latter Day Saints to be sentenced for participation in the killing of more than 120 men, women, and children bound for California.In this writing, Lee described his early Church missions among 'gentiles,' his work with Joseph Smith and Brigham Young, and the persecutions endured by Church leaders and followers that compelled them to move West. Bitter over his conviction, Lee blamed Church leaders for the Mountain Meadows murders, calling Brigham Young 'the greatest criminal of the nineteenth century.'This reissue includes the original publisher's preface and an introduction by John D. Lee's attorney, W. W. Bishop. Of interest to readers of social and religious history, the book also provides an account of Lee's arrest and execution, transcripts of his trial, and the names of others involved in the Mountain Meadows massacre.

The APA Handbook of Human Systems Integration is a practical tool for both students and professionals who need specific knowledge about human considerations in systems design. It is intended to sensitize readers to basic design issues, enhance their understanding of the influence of these issues, and guide them in appropriately combining human performance with a system's numerous interacting components.
