complexities for Judy Howard: Liberated enough to drive forward in
her RV, yet still imprisoned by her 40 year old past when she was
drugged, raped, and had an illegal abortion. Judy Howard, a typical
sixteen year old growing up in the Midwest in 1965, is naive and
shy, with a crush on the high school's "James Dean bad boy" named
Brad. As Judy and Brad flirt with their desires for one another,

night in the roller rink parking lot. Her Bad Boy crush, Brad,
rescues her after the crime and arranges for an illegal abortion.
The results changed their lives forever. The drug preventing Judy
from knowing her attacker causes her to live in fear. The guilt of
the abortion drives her to accept a college offer in California.
Judy flees to the west coast in an attempt to escape her shame,
guilt and fear, but is unable to leave her nightmares and regrets
in Illinois. She marries and makes a life for herself for forty
years but is haunted by memories of Brad, nightmares of the rape
and constant regrets, and questions of "What if..?" The opportunity
to confront her lifelong question of "What if..?" arises when her

her past...and who knows? - Her future? She makes the trip in her
motorhome, she's named The Wizard of Winnebago, and is accompanied
by her cat named Sportster, and a life-sized doll she calls Cowboy
Jack. The odyssey is a discovery of Route 66 but also a deep
examination of her feelings and about the woman she has become
since she snuggled in the backseat of Brad's 57 Chevy. Brad has
lived the last four decades married only to the police force,
obsessed with investigating and capturing the biggest drug dealer
in the Midwest, called Pit Bull. Brad, too, has lived his life with
regrets and guilt, always tortured with his own "What ifs?" When he
invites Judy to the reunion his mind is made up. He will not waste
another moment wondering. He is going to pursue the love of his
life and end his doubts. As Judy progresses toward Springfield and
Brad nears closing the biggest case of his career, they are both
confronted with the past when Pit Bull threatens to put an end, not
only to the mysteries of the past, but Brad and Judy's future. BACK

Bach Flower Remedies is a system of natural healing for the relief

enjoyment of life, but are regarded as contributory factors in the
cause of physical and emotional suffering. They were discovered
during the 1930s by the late Dr. Edward Bach, an eminent physician
who devoted his life to the cause and cure of disease. The result
of his life's work were 38 harmless remedies made from nonpoisonous
plants and herbs of the countryside, each pertaining to aspects of
human nature, personality and states of mind. The Bach Flower
Remedies have deservedly earned themselves a reputation of
excellence and are now used extensively throughout the world.
Growing Up with Bach Flower Remedies shows how the system of
healing can help babies, children and adolescents during the
turbulent years of youth. The book takes the reader through all the
stages of childhood, including developmental progress, illness,
schooling, behavior, puberty, examinations and the various other
milestones when emotional support is needed. Growing Up with Bach
