Angelo is a twenty-two year old who has sought out sex and narcotics to ease the woes of an afflicted mind. Despite his unnatural beauty, he is haunted by his past - a past filled with physical and sexual abuse, depravity and insecurity. One night, while in a drug-induced stupor, he makes a decision that changes the course of his existence as he is thrust into worlds unknown. It is here, within this abstract narcosis, that he is forced to confront the demons that have plagued him all his life. But Angelo quickly discovers he is not alone. He finds himself in the presence of a companion - a guardian named Serah who is there to help him discover long-sought answers that have eluded him over the years. He is forced to reminisce upon a childhood that involves his mother's untimely death and a father's cancerous resentment toward his own son. He is forced to relive the ridicule he suffered as a child for being different and to endure the sexual perversions that left permanent scars upon a fragile mind. And yet it is through this cerebral expedition into the past that Angelo is able to find understanding and closure as he is shown the secrets of the universe.
