Four brand new stories featuring the investigators of infernal
incidents, in one box set: 1. JAGO AND SON by Nigel Fairs. With
missing persons, dead bodies and a Satanist cult to deal with, both
Litefoot and Jago need help. Professor Litefoot finds himself
working with Jean Bazemore, an old archaeologist friend. Jago,
however, finds he is assisted by someone he never even knew existed
- his own son. Or is he? Can Jago be sure of anything? But there is
more to events than the detectives know. An alien menace is
stirring underground. Once again, Jago and Litefoot find themselves
fighting for their lives...2. MAURICE by Matthew Sweet. As he
tightens his grip on Inspector Quick, the Master becomes interested
in the young composer Maurice Ravel. For his part, Ravel befriends
Professor Litefoot. But is anyone truly who they seem or able to
control their own destiny and actions? When Litefoot goes missing,
it's up to Jago to investigate. But the Professor finds himself in
a nightmare landscape where reality and fiction seem to have
merged. Will he ever manage to escape? And if the real Maurice
Ravel is trapped with Litefoot, who exactly is walking the streets
of London? 3. THE WOMAN IN WHITE by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris.
The great actor Henry Irving is not as great as he once was. In
fact, he's awful - a shadow of his former self. Worried that
something may be terribly wrong, Irving's assistant Bram Stoker
enlists the help of an old friend - Henry Gordon Jago. With
Irving's state deteriorating, Professor Litefoot also faces a
challenge. He performs an autopsy on a man who has had all his
bodily fluids drained from him. Can the detectives discover the
connection between the great actor and the mysterious dehydrated
corpse? And how does it relate to the Woman in White who supposedly
haunts Irving's theatre? 4. MASTERPIECE by Justin Richards. The
Master's plan is nearing completion - and he is sure that Jago and
Litefoot will help him bring it to fruition. With Inspector Quick
increasingly under the Master's influence, the Infernal
Investigators find themselves tired and fatigued, as if their very
life force is being drained away...With the help of Ellie together
with stage hypnotist Madame Sosostris and her assistant Mr
Nocturne, Jago and Litefoot finally track down the Master. But as
they make their way towards his lair, the Time Lord's true scheme
is revealed. This is the eleventh of an incredibly popular audio
spin-off series of two Doctor Who characters first encountered in
hit story The Talons of Weng-Chiang in 1977. The characters were
created by Robert Holmes, widely regarded as the best writer to
work on the series. Actor Christopher Benjamin is a widely known
face on British TV, appearing in everything from The Avengers to
Inspector Morse, Poldark to Midsomer Murders. One of the people
behind the series - writer and script editor Justin Richards - is
the creator of The Invisible Detective series of children's novels.
This special volume includes guest appearances from the Doctor
(Colin Baker) and his arch-nemesis the Master (Geoffrey Beevers).
CAST: Trevor Baxter (Professor George Litefoot), Christopher
Benjamin (Henry Gordon Jago), Conrad Asquith (Inspector Quick),
Lisa Bowerman (Ellie), Geoffrey Beevers (The Master), James Joyce
(Henry Gordon Jago Jr), Rowena Cooper (Jean Bazemore), Andy McKeane
(Maurice Ravel), Jonathan Forbes (Bram Stoker), Edward de Souza
(Sir Henry Irving), Robbie Stevens (Mr Manners), Maggie Ollerenshaw
(Dame Wilhelmina Gussett), Rachel Atkins (Madame Sosotris/Bishop)
and Colin Baker as The Doctor.
Four brand new stories featuring the First Doctor and his
companions.Doctor Who - The Companion Chronicles has proved one of
Big Finish's most popular ranges, using some of the most loved
actors in the show's history to bring classic periods to life. This
boxed set collects four brand new stories, using companions from
the 1963-66 period of the First Doctor (William Hartnell).THE
SLEEPING BLOOD - When the Doctor falls ill, Susan is forced to
leave the safety of the TARDIS behind. Exploring a disused research
centre in search of medical supplies, she becomes embroiled in the
deadly plans of a terrorist holding an entire world to ransom - and
the soldier sent to stop him. THE UNWINDING WORLD - Office life is
tough, the commute is a grind, nothing works quite as well as you'd
like. Vicki seems to remember things being better once, before the
little flat. It's time she put some excitement back in her life.
It's just a shame the Doctor can't help. THE FOUNDING FATHERS - The
TARDIS lands in Leicester Square in the summer of 1762. When the
Doctor, Steven and Vicki find themselves locked out of the TARDIS,
only one man can possibly help them. But the American, Benjamin
Franklin, has problems of his own...THE LOCKED ROOM - Steven Taylor
left the Doctor and the TARDIS to become king of an alien world.
But it's now many years since he gave up the throne and went to
live in a cell in the mountains, out of sight of his people. He's
not escaping his past - quite the opposite, in fact. As his
granddaughter, Sida, is about to discover...Four all-new audio
dramas performed by two actors with specially composed music and
cinematic sound design. Carole Ann Ford played the Doctor's
grand-daughter Susan in the first ever Doctor Who story! Peter
Perves not only brought one of the First Doctor's most-liked
companions - Steven - to life, but to a generation was one of the
faces of Blue Peter. CAST:Carole Ann Ford, Maureen O'Brien, Peter
Purves, Alix Dunmore, Alice Haig, Darren Strange.

The Doctor and Peri face enemies at every turn on Magnus: the Time
Lord bully Anzor, the matriarchal ruler Rana Zandusia, and Sil,
bitter from defeat on Varos. And, deep within the planet, there is
something else. The future is looking decidedly colder...
An unabridged reading of the 7th Doctor novel by Paul Cornell which
formed the basis for the 10th Doctor television story Human Nature
/ The Family of Blood. Hulton College in Norfolk is a school
dedicated to producing military officers. With the First World War
about to start, the boys of the school will soon be on the front
line. But no one expects a war - not even Dr John Smith, the
college's new house master... The Doctor's friend Benny is enjoying
her holiday in the same town. But then she meets a future version
of the Doctor, and things start to get dangerous very quickly. With
the Doctor she knows gone, and only a suffragette and an elderly
rake for company, can Benny fight off a vicious alien attack? And
will Dr Smith be able to save the day?
You can't change the past, every time traveller knows that. What's
done is done and cannot be unwritten. But what if it isn't the past
any more? What if it's now the present? The spaceship called the
UK-201 was intended to fly to the Earth colony of Astra. But it
never made it. Crashing on the planet Dido, a tragic chain of
events was set in motion leading to the death of almost all of its
crew and a massacre of the indigenous population. The only survivor
of these events was a young girl called Vicki. Rescued by the time
traveller known as the Doctor, she's been travelling in his ship
for some time. So when she suddenly wakes up in her cabin on the
UK-201 again, without her friends, a few days before the accident,
she's faced with a stark choice... Can she stop the crash from
happening? And if she can, should she? The Early Adventures are a
range designed to tell stories in long gone Doctor Who eras, with
narration from some of the actors there at the time. Here Maureen
O'Brien and Peter Purves reprise their 1964 roles as the Doctor's
assistants Vicky and Steven. Peter Purves - known and loved by a
generation as one of the definitive Blue Peter presenters, not only
recreates his companion role, but gives a careful, fond
impersonation of First Doctor actor William Hartnell. This 2018 run
of four Early Adventures tales creates a self-contained story arc
with the Doctor, Vicky and Steven confronting enemies old and new.
CAST:Maureen O'Brien (Vicki), Peter Purves (Steven Taylor / The
Doctor), Michael Lumsden (Newton Pallister), Carol Starks (Captain
Odessa Grey), Jemma Churchill (Carmen Scheffler), Arthur Hughes
(Lieutenant Thorpe), Stephen Fewell (Jeran Dalton), Eve Webster

Undergoing repairs in deep space, the TARDIS is caught in a
collision with the huge, decaying wreck of a starship. Zoe,
spacewalking, is separated from her companions in the crash, and
the Doctor and Jamie wake to find the TARDIS fused to the side of
the ship. Venturing inside to rescue their friend, they discover
that they are on board The World, the very first colony ship to
leave Earth, lost mid-voyage under unknown circumstances. And they
are not alone. A terrible suspension chamber is filled with dead,
withered human bodies, and a team of gun-toting astronauts are
stalking the corridors. But a far greater threat lurks deep inside.
The terrifying force responsible for the scuttling of the ship is
active once more - and if it can't be stopped, it won't just be the
end of this World. It'll be the end of all of them. The Early
Adventures are a range designed to tell stories in long gone Doctor
