Double bill featuring movies that focus on America's recent involvement in foreign countries. In 'The Kingdom' (2007), when a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Jamie Foxx) quickly assembles an elite team and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing. Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter. Hamstrung by protocol, and with the clock ticking on their five days, the FBI agents find their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms. Fleury's crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Police Captain Al-Ghazi (Ashraf Barhom), who helps them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist, hell bent on further destruction. 'Jarhead' (2006) is an adaptation of former Marine Anthony Swofford's Gulf War memoir. Young recruit Swofford (Jake Gyllenhaal) joins up with the US Marines (nicknamed 'Jarheads' because of their distinctive haircuts) on the eve of the 1990 Gulf War. After a brutal spell in boot camp, during which Swofford and his fellow recruits are systematically geared up for the conflict, the Marines are dispatched to the deserts of the Persian Gulf to take part in a war that sees them required to do very little in the way of fighting. Bored and frustrated in the middle of nowhere, the young soldiers resort to a macabre sense of humour as they wait for the war to happen to them.

Double bill of sci-fi adventures based on the first two novels in Veronica Roth's trilogy. Set in a future where society is divided into five distinct factions based on personality traits, 'Divergent' (2014) follows Beatrice 'Tris' Prior (Shailene Woodley) as she undergoes a test to determine which faction she belongs to. Afterwards, she finds out she meets the criteria for more than one and is therefore Divergent - a rare occurrence which puts her and others like her in danger. Her secret is known only to a small number of people and she is forced to make a decision about which faction to join. In the end, she opts for Dauntless, a faction made up of the brave, and as she undergoes initiation, her fellow members begin to grow suspicious of her and her behaviour. On top of this, she also uncovers a plot by another faction's leader, Jeanine (Kate Winslet), to seek out and destroy all Divergents, making the potential threat of exposure all the more dangerous. In the sequel 'Insurgent' (2015), Tris and Four (Theo James) are on the run as the separate factions continue to be torn apart by war and inner conflict. The divergents frantically search for reasons behind the violent uprising as they continue to be hunted by its initiator Jeanine. The group visits the other faction's compounds in their search for allies as defectors choose sides for the looming war. But as Tris struggles with the horrors and grief of previous events she finds out some shocking truths about the origin and future of their fractured world.

In 'Stuart Little' (2000), when Mr and Mrs Little (Hugh Laurie and Geena Davis) visit an orphanage to find a brother for their son George (Jonathan Lipnicki) they come away with a charming talking mouse called Stuart. After initial misgivings, George and Stuart begin to get on famously, and everything seems to be going perfectly; but unknown to the family, the neighbourhood cats have ganged together with the sole intention of getting rid of Stuart. In 'Stuart Little 2' (2002), feeling lonely in his adoptive home, Stuart is happy to make a new friend in the form of the bird Margalo (voice of Melanie Griffith), who crash-lands next to him when he is on his way home from school. Margalo goes with Stuart to visit his family, but after being coaxed by the bullying Falcon (voice of James Woods), she is eventually persuaded to steal Mrs Little's (Davis) wedding ring. When she subsequently disappears from the Little's home, Stuart sets off on a daring rescue mission through the big city to save her from Falcon's clutches. Finally, in 'Stuart Little 3' (2005), school's out for the summer and the Littles are spending their vacation at a beautiful lakeside cabin. Leading the way is Stuart, who can't wait to become a Scout and spend his entire vacation canoeing, hiking and being the outdoorsy little guy he claims to be. But there is something lurking in the forest which could spoil the fun.

Emily Wilding Davison was the most famous suffragette to die in the battle for women's rights after she rushed onto the Epsom racecourse in 1913 and collided with the King's horse. Her notorious final act of protest has for decades obscured the extraordinary life she lived and the impassioned arguments that underpinned her militancy. In this centenary year of UK women first receiving the franchise, this biography reveals the true story of Davison's life and times. A middle-class governess for most of her adulthood, she pivoted towards violence, vandalism, jail time and force-feeding only in her final years. Lucy Fisher, a Times journalist, draws on the suffragette's own words, contemporary press reports, local histories and academic scholarship to paint a vivid picture of a strange life and a tragic finale.

Box set containing three popular family movies. In 'Nanny McPhee' (2005), Cedric Brown (Colin Firth) has recently lost his wife and is faced with the prospect of trying to raise his seven unruly children on his own. With the wild children too much for most nannies, all of whom have quickly left his service, Cedric is one day commanded by a mysterious voice to hire the witch-like Nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson), who uses her magical powers to keep the children in line. In 'The Grinch' (2000), Jim Carrey plays the grouchy green monster who lives high up on a mountain overlooking the town of Whoville. The Grinch hates happiness, hates merriment, and most of all, hates Christmas. So one year, as the festive season approaches, he decides that enough is enough and draws up plans to steal all the decorations and all the presents from the poor, unsuspecting citizens below. Does this mean the Whos won't be celebrating this year? Not if little Cindy Lou has anything to do with it. Finally, in 'Peter Pan' (2003) join Peter Pan (Jeremy Sumpter), the boy who wouldn't grow up and Wendy (Rachel Hurd-Wood), the girl who is told she has to, in their adventure against Captain Hook (Jason Isaacs) and his pirate crew. Follow Tinker Bell (Ludivine Sagnier), the Lost Boys, giant crocodiles and other creatures to Neverland - a world where anything is possible.
