Togetherness follows two couples living under one roof on the fringes of Los Angeles. Brett and Michelle are struggling to rekindle the spark in their relationship, which has puttered out from the stresses of marriage and children. When Brett's friend Alex and Michelle's sister Tina move in with them, the foursome engage in a tragically comedic struggle to follow their personal dreams while still remaining good friends, siblings, and spouses to each other.

Initially, the procedure appears a success, but the team soon realizes something is wrong with Zoe. As her strange new persona reveals itself, the team quickly becomes stuck in a gruesome reality. They are no longer faced with the question of whether they can bring someone back to life, but rather, the wrath of her return.

However, Jack arrives to find the house already occupied by Iris's half-sister, Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt), who has come to recover from the breakdown of a long-term relationship. When Iris unexpectedly joins them the following morning, it soon becomes clear that all three have their reasons for hiding away from the world. As their relationships deepen and intertwine over the coming days, all three come to learn a lot about themselves and each other.

Three journalists set out to investigate an oddball who claims he can time travel in this indie comedy directed by Colin Trevorrow. When a local paper discovers a personal ad asking for someone to share in a time-traveling trip with the writer, the editor dispatches Jeff (Jake M Johnson) and interns Darius (Aubrey Plaza) and Arnau (Karan Soni) to get a story. After tracing the ad to quirky supermarket shelf-stacker Kenneth (Mark Duplass), an initially sceptical Darius manages to gain his confidence by posing as a potential candidate for his mission. But over the coming weeks, as she undertakes 'training exercises' in the nearby woods, she gradually finds herself torn between her developing feelings for Kenneth and her obligations as a budding reporter.

Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon star in this road trip comedy co-written by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, who makes his directorial debut. Tammy (McCarthy) finds her life in a mess after she loses her job at fast-food chain Toppy Jacks and discovers her husband Greg (Nat Faxon) cheating on her with neighbour Missi (Toni Collette). Deciding to leave town and head to Niagara Falls, Tammy, who is in need of money and a vehicle for the trip, has no choice but to bring along her grandmother Pearl (Sarandon). As their journey progresses it becomes clear that Pearl is an alcoholic and while trying to look after her, Tammy gets involved in various misadventures including the robbery of a Toppy Jacks. The film also stars Kathy Bates, Dan Aykroyd and Allison Janney.
