A forbidden relationship takes place in 1938 which causes all hell
to break loose in the small town of Lynchburg, Virginia. Lucy falls
in love with Rubin who is from the wrong side of the tracks. The
secret relationship is found out once Lucy gives birth to her son
Rubin Jr. which causes the Lucy, Rubin and their child to go on the
