All five films from the popular 'Die Hard' franchise starring Bruce Willis. In 'Die Hard' (1988), on Christmas Eve, New York cop John McClane (Willis) is visiting his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) in Los Angeles, where she works. They are attending a party at Holly's high-rise office block when terrorists, led by the suave Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), break in, taking everyone hostage. McClane manages to evade capture, however, and sets out to rescue his wife and the other prisoners. In 'Die Hard 2 - Die Harder' (1990), John McClane is again set to meet up with Holly on Christmas Eve, this time at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. However, when terrorists take over the airport in an attempt to rescue dictator Esperanza (Franco Nero) from his incoming flight, it is up to McClane to restore order and ensure that Holly's plane lands safely. In 'Die Hard With a Vengeance' (1995), McClane becomes involved in a twisted game of Simon Says when an evil terrorist (Jeremy Irons) sends him dashing all over the city in an effort to find a series of explosive devices. Teaming up with electrician Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson), McClane soon discovers that the bombs are an elaborate ruse intended to provide cover for a billion dollar bank job. 'Die Hard 4.0' (2007) finds McClane routinely asked to bring in computer hacker Matt Farrell (Justin Long) for questioning. In transit, events overtake them as they witness a full-scale cyber attack on the country's infrastructure led by mystery man Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant), who plans to systematically shut down or destroy the nation's major networks over three days. McClane and his hacker friend have to stop the mastermind before it's too late. Finally, in 'A Good Day to Die Hard' (2013), McClane travels to Russia to help out his son Jack (Jai Courtney), who, unbeknownst to his father, is an undercover CIA operative trying to stop the theft of nuclear weapons. With the Russian mafia snapping at their heels and time running out, the pair soon discover that although their approaches may differ slightly, the end result is certainly no less explosive.
Liam Neeson, Ed Harris and Joel Kinnaman star in this action drama from director Jaume Collet-Serra. Hitman Jimmy Conlon (Neeson) has no choice but to shoot and kill the son of his former boss and friend Sean Maguire (Harris) when his own son Michael (Kinnaman) is targeted by the mob. Now the ruthless Maguire seeks revenge and will stop at nothing to get it, meaning Jimmy must do all he can to protect his son and his family from corrupt police officers and contract killers. Will he succeed? The cast also includes Vincent D'Onofrio, Common, Boyd Holbrook and Genesis Rodriguez.
Russell Brand plays the title character in this remake of the 1981 comedy which starred Dudley Moore. Rich playboy Arthur Bach (Brand) spends most of his time getting drunk and living a life of luxury. He finds himself in a dilemma, however, when his family insists upon his marriage to heiress Susan Johnson (Jennifer Garner).
Arthur much prefers waitress Linda Marolla (Greta Gerwig) but if he goes against his family's wishes, he will lose his inheritance. Arthur must decide if he's willing to risk losing everything for the woman he loves. Helen Mirren and Nick Nolte co-star.
Crime drama set in the 1940s and '50s in Los Angeles inspired by the real life story of vicious mob boss Mickey Cohen and the LAPD officers who tried to bring him down. After moving to LA from the East Coast, Cohen (Sean Penn) has taken control of the town. A force to be reckoned with, he not only has his gang to do his bidding but a number of policemen and politicians are also under his command. Police Chief Bill Parker (Nick Nolte) instructs Sergeant John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) to wage war against Cohen and his men. With only a small squad which includes his colleague, Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), O'Mara attempts to regain control of the city. Meanwhile, Wooters gets involved with the mobster's girlfriend, Grace Faraday (Emma Stone), which, if discovered, will only serve to enrage Cohen further.
Kevin Smith directs this action comedy starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. Two NYPD detectives - no-nonsense veteran Jimmy Monroe (Willis) and his wacky sidekick Paul Hodges (Morgan) - are on the trail of merciless, memorabilia-obsessed Mexican gangster Poh Boy (Guillermo Diaz). Meanwhile both are beset by problems in their personal lives: Jimmy must unearth the rare, mint-condition baseball card that is his only hope of footing the bill for his daughter's upcoming wedding, while Paul has become so suspicious of his wife's infidelity that he has hidden a CCTV camera inside a teddy bear in their bedroom.
Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe and Jessica Brown Findlay star in this romantic drama adapted from the 1983 novel by Mark Helprin. Set in Manhattan in 1916, the film follows thief Peter Lake (Farrell) who meets Beverly Penn (Brown Findlay), a young woman he is about to rob. Instead, he begins to talk to her and they soon fall in love but he later discovers that she is terminally ill. Meanwhile, Peter is being pursued by his old boss, ruthless gangster Pearly Soames (Crowe), to whom he owes a debt, but he is saved by a white horse and finds himself transported into the future. Suffering from amnesia, Peter encounters Virginia Gamely (Jennifer Connelly) who helps him to recall his past and, driven by his love for Beverly, he tries to find a way to bring her back to life.
