The saints have forever intrigued me since I was a small child with their strength, faithfulness and their Christian beliefs and multiple sacrifices. How truly compelling, interesting and fascinating were the lives of the saints. The saints would desire that we be inspired by their perseverance to live a holy and devotional life, while sacrificing earthly pleasures; thus having a life devoted to following in the footsteps of God. Saints were the followers of Jesus they adored him and committed themselves totally to his message. They were the key players historically, socially and politically of the religion of Western Civilization. It was due to their resilience that most of their stories have existed for thousands of years. We have heard their names many times over again.........Saint Paul, Saint Peter and Saint Nicholas.......yes one in the same, Santa Clause, but what do we know about him or the other saints?
